يقول الفيلسوف والروائي والناقد الإيطالي عام 2015 قبل أن يموت بعام :
“ وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تعطي جحافل من الحمقى الحق في الكلام بعد أن كانوا يتحدثون فقط في البار بعد كأس من النبيذ دون أن يضروا المجتمع ثم سرعان ما كان يتم إسكاتهم، الآن صار لديهم نفس الحق في الكلام مثل الفائز بجائزة نوبل. إنه غزو الحمقى ” ..!!

النص الإيطالي الأصلي :
I social media danno diritto di parola a legioni di imbecilli che prima parlavano solo al bar dopo un bicchiere di vino, senza danneggiare la collettività. Venivano subito messi a tacere, mentre ora hanno lo stesso diritto di parola di un Premio Nobel. È l’invasione degli imbecilli.
